Furthermore, he advises economic develop- ment and investment promotion agencies on intelligence and strategy issues. Nikolaus founded AT Consult in New York City in 1996. In 2001 he initiated a consulting partnership in Vienna, Austria. Since then, and together with strategic partners, an international consulting network has been created, covering the world's most important locations (North America, Europe, South East Asia, India and China). Nikolaus holds a master's degree and a PHD from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration. Prior to starting his own company, he worked for the German media group Bertelsmann.
