Gerhard Apfelthaler has a wide array of both professional and academic experience in the area of international market entry strategies and cross-cultural management.
In the past, he served as Austria's Deputy Trade Commissioner to the United States and as Austria's Commercial Attache to Singapore. Besides, he has held appointments with universitites in Austria and abroad. Gerhard currently serves as Associate Dean for Graduate Programs and Professor of International Business at California Lutheran University in the USA. He has published several books and articles in his areas of expertise and is a frequent speaker at universities and symposia worldwide.

NIKOLAUS BUCH, PARTNER (New York)
Nikolaus Buch has a broad consulting experience in international market entry strategies for SMEs. Furthermore, he advises economic development and investment promotion agencies on intelligence and strategy issues.
Nikolaus founded AT Consult in New York City in 1996. In 2001 he initiated a consulting partnership in Vienna, Austria. Since then, and together with strategic partners, an international consulting network has been created, covering the world's most important locations (North America, Europe, South East Asia, India and China).
Nikolaus holds a master's degree and a PHD from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration. Prior to starting his own company, he worked for the German media group Bertelsmann. He also publishes books on international business development and marketing.

CHRISTIANE ERTEN, PARTNER (Vienna)
Christiane Erten has experience in the professional and academic field with a focus on intercultural management, intercultural training, organizational development, and leadership in SMEs.
She has considerable professional experience in the fields of strategic business consultation, organizational development and Human Resource Management. Besides, she has worked as an assistant professor at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and still lectures at universities abroad.
Christiane has published several books and articles in her areas of expertise and heads the office in Vienna.

Martin Meusburger has professional consulting experience in various industries and countries. Ranging from work engagements in Poland, the US and Austria in industries such as construction, logistics, IT, marketing and market research. He is a certified corporate consultant with significant expertise in business development and a broad business network in Europe. He joined the team of AT Consult in 2012 to contribute to the continuous development of our service portfolio and international network.
Martin holds a master’s degree in Business Administration and E-Business Management from the IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems.

Melanie Klingenschmid has gained consulting experience at PeCo an Austrian SME consultancy where she supported clients in the conduction of industry specific market research and the creation of marketing plans to increase sales. She continued here career with British American Tobacco in Germany as part of the companies Brand Marketing team before joining AT Consult as Project Manager for FDI Promotion.
Melanie currently holds a Bachelor Degree in International Management from the University of Graz, Austria.
